You Better Save

Cause I don't know if you've got the gear for these . . .

Bossfights!

So, I had this huge elaborate well thought out post about how I blog and where my influences come from . . . Screw That!
I have Been Waiting for This Album, SO HARD!
Today, the 21'st, they're Debut album is out. Why are you reading this!? Go get it, NOW!
Okay, downloading? good.

I had been head banging super hard to the first three songs they put out back when their site was still part of Z1's Site, and have put them on 3 different mix-CD's. Upon glancing over the track listing for this new album I see "Eye of the Rising Sun" and "Left For Dead" But I am a little disappointed not to see "Frontalots" as I love that anthem. I wonder why. Well, maybe they just forgot, considering . . . some of the things they do . . .
I've been listening to the sample tracks up on their site and OOH BOY! This is definitely a unique, amazing, professional garage band, super group sound and mix that takes all of the artists influences and makes them flow and coalesce into audio awesomeness. And you can quote me on that. I will be a few bucks poorer in wallet, but many times more rich in art as I will be bumpin these tracks all over. Oh, and here's a tickler that you cant get no-where . . .

Best rest up at the Inn, cause in the mornin, there will be Bossfights!

Nerdy Fresh

Word, nerd, I got some fresh beats for those of you who have a hard time finding new, sweet Nerdcore Notes to bob your head too, or don't want to waste your time trying to find, what I consider, GOOD Nerdcore Hip-Hop.

Boss fights, as featured a month or so back, you can snag their first three free songs HERE, and word has it their first actual album is breaths away from being ready to be distributed, probably in the same place.

Rise, the new Mixtape by Zealous1, who we've discussed before dropped about a week or two agoe, snag that goodness NYAH

Soup or Villainz, is a new group that just released this album, and woo boy it is entertaining, I shall not lie. Snag it 'DERE, if I hear more about them in the future I hope to do a 3rd 4 t3h Nrrd on em.

KTP, or Kabuto the Python, had an album called Ill Ron Hubbard drop a little while back that apparently consists of old cuts intended for something else, short but chock full of Kabuto goodness, snag it NYAH!

Ran, Random, &/or Mega-Ran, seems to always be hard at work, After pulling down some of his free stuff across the webs, I think I will drop some cash to buy Black Materia, his album solely covering FFIV (NerdLife!) as well as as some of his other goodies. Perhaps even do a 3rd 4 t3h Nrrd on this bad boy before too long as well. Here's a sample from that Fantasy EP, enjoy.

3rd 4 t3h Nrrd: Feb. '11

Quick query nerdlings;
what do you get when you mix A Dragon, an Marvel Villain, A Doctor, A Clergyman, and a . . . 'Nious?

A Nerdcore supergroup the likes of which not seen since, dare I say? Oh, I dare, Optimus Rhyme.

THE BOSSFIGHTS!!!!!

These bad mofo's formally formed and performed at 2010 Nerdapalooza to a great general reception.

Though there are only a handful of toons bouncing around the intrarwebs they are currently hard at work on their first full length album. I wait with bated ears.

With The Juggernaut thumpin the drums since the 7nth grade, he rolls beats hard and keeps the groups energy kickin. I might even suggest the band perform BEHIND his drum kit so you can see how awesome this dude is. Also, from the vid clips, he's not the quiet shy type, he throws quips an jibes with the others as if he was the front man. I love me some personality.

Jay Bishop has a long and prolific catalog as a string-smith and lends his talents to keep the licks wicked throughout, as well as having the gear and know how to do the mixing and recording for the group.
Along side Bishop is Kevo. The two have been playing together off and on since the day they both picked up stringed instruments. From what I can gather, one of the more subdued members of the group makes for the adorable quiet guy with mystique, right? Yeah, that's an "Almost Famous" reference, deal with it. You can hear in several of the songs his bass tickling antics keep every frequency of the group entertaining.

Zealous1 & Doc tor Awkard I've discussed previously and they both are rumored to have new albums in the pipe in addition to The Boss Fights collaborations.

This crew dons signature black dress shirts and red ties and on occasion thick rimmed glasses in a tribute to the Godfather, and even have a song as such. with such characters in their crew shenanigans are rampant as is evidenced below.

Watching and listening to these guys is a true inspiration and I hope to hear many more great things from them for years to come.
